About
BoomPop
The goal was to build a marketing site that could keep pace with one of the fastest-growing companies in its category. BoomPop's product moves quickly, ships often, and speaks to a broad set of audiences: people teams, operations, sales, and leadership. The existing site couldn't keep up. Pages were built by hand, content was difficult to scale, and the visual system had drifted as the brand evolved.
BoomPop needed more than a refresh. They needed an underlying system that let their team launch new pages and destinations on demand, hold a consistent visual standard across light and dark experiences, and feel as energetic and modern as the platform itself.
We approached the project as a system, not a set of screens. Anchored on the idea of speed, energy, and ease that defines the BoomPop brand, we rebuilt the site from the component up. The result is a site that's faster to manage, easier to scale, and noticeably more alive.
Every decision laddered back to two questions: does this make the site easier for BoomPop's team to extend, and does it make the experience feel more like BoomPop? That balance of operational efficiency and brand expression shaped the work across design, motion, accessibility, and content.
Rather than designing pages in isolation, we streamlined the site into a library of reusable, dynamic components built on the Lumos framework. Lumos gave us a consistent class and structure system inside Webflow, which meant every component in every page, from cards, grids, sections and CTAs, could be assembled from the same well-defined building blocks.
The payoff is compounding. New pages snap together from existing parts instead of being built from scratch. Styling updates ripple across the entire site from a single source of truth. And the team can extend the catalogue confidently, knowing each new page inherits the same standards for structure, responsiveness, and performance. It's a foundation made to scale alongside the company.
A modern platform deserves a refined, modern palette. We revisited BoomPop's color system across both light and dark modes, tuning each value so the brand reads as polished and intentional in either context. Balanced for depth, contrast, and legibility were prioritized for both light and dark modes.
Throughout, we checked the system against ADA accessibility standards, validating contrast ratios so text and interface elements remain readable for everyone. The result is a palette that's both expressive and inclusive: vibrant enough to feel like BoomPop, accessible enough to serve every visitor.
BoomPop is energetic by nature — fast, optimistic, a little celebratory. We translated that essence into a layer of considered animation and interaction across the site. Elements respond as you scroll, components reveal with intent, and microinteractions add a sense of life and responsiveness that static pages can't convey.
The most operationally significant work happened behind the scenes. BoomPop's featured destinations had been built as individual, hand-made Squarespace pages which is a setup that couldn't scale. We led a bulk content migration into a structured Webflow CMS, converting one-off pages into a single, dynamic content model.
We designed a streamlined approach to creating and managing destinations, so a robust, growing catalogue can be maintained from one organized backend rather than dozens of disconnected pages. Adding a new destination is now a matter of populating fields, not rebuilding layouts. This shift hands BoomPop's team real independence: they can grow the catalogue, keep it current, and publish at the speed their business demands — no advanced technical knowledge required.
What started as a website became a system. BoomPop now has a reusable component library that scales with the company, a refined and accessible color system across light and dark modes, a motion language that captures the brand's energy, and a CMS-driven catalogue their team can grow on their own. The site finally moves as fast as the platform behind it.
